Asante Religion


Asante Pantheon or Abosom are the gods and godesses of the Asante people. Nyame was the supreme god. He fathered the abosom or lesser gods. Under theabosoms were spirits called asumans and under the asumans were the nsamanfo, or ancestor spirits.
