Funji(funʒi) is a caribbean delicacy made from yellow cornmeal mixed with ocra. It is found all over the Caribbean with different names. In Barbados, it is referred to as coo-coo(ku-ku) and in Puerto Rico funche. The dish is served as a round ball dough, and usually with saucy salt fish(dried cod), mackerel, and other fish stews.
