How to grow okra

Okra (abelmoschus esculentus ,hibiscus esculentus) is a food plant popular in many dishes of South America, Africa, and Asia. The place of domestication is in dispute from west Africa, east Africa, to India. India grows the most okra in the world, as of 2014. 

To grow orkra, one can plant in beds. Seeds must be burried one inch deep and placed 6 inches apart. Soil must be well drained. Okra loves heat. Ideal temperature must be between 15 degrees celsius( 60 F) to 29.4 degrees celsius(85 F). Okra plants should be fertilized every three weeks.
