Nkiri is meat (goat/sheep) dish either barbequed or stewed, a major staple of Massai diet. The Massai only eat goat, sheep, or cattle meat. They don't eat chicken or fish, which they refer to as snake. Stewed meat are usually prepared with different herbs. Cattle meat is rarily eaten except on special occassions, because of the value of cattle in Massai society.
